Spinning Lathes for Britania Work
Swings 16 inches. Cone pulley of four grades, largest diameter 10 inches, for 2½-inch belt. Front bearing of head-stock spindle, 1¾ inches diameter, 5 inches long. Screw-thread for face-plate, 1½ inches diameter, 8 pitch. Foot-stock spindle, operated by lever or screw, as may be ordered. Distance between centers of 6-foot bed, 3 feet, 4. inches. Weight, with countershaft, 850 pounds. Countershaft has tight and loose pulleys, 7 inches diameter, 3-inch face, and should make 800 revolutions per minute.

Screw-thread for face-plate, 2¼ inches diameter, 6 pitch. Distance between centers of 6-foot bed, 40 inches. Countershaft has tight and loose pulleys, 10x4 inches speed, 732 revolutions per minute. Weight, 1,300 pounds. |
