This 20th century firm made "Multico" brand woodworking machinery, including mortisers, table saws, radial arm saws, bandsaws, jointers and tenoners. They seem to have designed the original bench-top direct-drive hollow-chisel mortiser. This design was widely copied by offshore makers and have displaced virtually every older hollow-chisel mortiser design on the market.
A company named Multico still exists; it is based in France and makes hollow chisels mortisers—virtually the only ones not made in Taiwan or China. We do not know the connection, if any, between this company and Kine Engineering.
