In the 1930s, Herbert Machinery Co. made the "Wizard", "Wizard Junior" and "Wood Wizard" lines of tools.
Herberts-made machines first appeared in the 1933 Sears-Roebuck catalog; the machines were all branded with the Craftsman name (Sears continued to carry the Walker-Turner Driver Line tools under the Walker-Turner name). Sears and Herberts parted ways about 1935, but Herberts continued to make the same machines under the "Wood Wizard" name.
A correspondent reports a "Wizard" combination drill press and grinder. The drill press is driven by a leather belt.
Another correspondent reports a "Wood Wizard" lathe.
