Improvements to patent 1,424,148. The reissue was an early step in an infringement lawsuit. This patent was "held valid and infringed in a consent decree by the Federal Southern District Court of Ohio in the suit by the P. L. Billingsley Co. v. the Mechanical Supplies Co." This patent number was seen in a 1935 catalog from United States Electrical Tool Co., for their circular saws with "Automatic Telescoping Safety Guard". The saws were available in 6", 7", 8", 9", 10", and 11" sizes. |
