The Grinding & Polishing Machinery Co. was formed in 1952 from the remnants of the Vonnegut Moulder Corp. after the molder line was sold to G. M. Diehl Machine Works, Inc. G & P is still in business and builds "machinery for finishing metal, wood, plastic, and rubber products".
