- Tablesaw ad in January 1931 Popular Science. Essentially the same ad appeared as late as the December 1935 issue.
- The earliest bandsaw ad we have seen is from the February 1935 Popular Science and the latest is from the December 1935 issue of Modern Mecanix & Inventions. The latter ad reads, "Six inch bandsaw, cuts stock 3" thick, tilting table 9"x9". 3/16" or 1/4" saw furnished, roller guide, one piece iron frame, enameled nickel gray...$5.75 prepaid to U. S. A. Shaw Tool Co. / 419 No. Tenth St.,Milwaukee, Wis."
- Thanks to correspondent Jordan Pugliese for sending us pics of his benchtop shaper/router. A search for ads or articles mentioning a shaper or router from Shaw Tools did not turn up anything.
