The Northwest Thresher Company was located in Stillwater, Minnesota and was know to have manufactured steam traction engines, portable steam engines (ca 1880's), the Northwest separator, and water wagons. The steam traction engines were produced in the return flue and locomotive types, and with single or compound cylinders.
