Founded in the 1930's by James H. Richards to manufacture milling machines made to his patented design.
      This firm built a line of ram and turret style milling machines with more axis of movement than the standard "Bridgeport" configuration.
      The firm was also know as Fray-Mershon, Inc. It was bought out by the Axelson Manufacturing Co.
