The Concord Machine Co., of Concord, New Hampshire, was also known as the Concord Machine Works. The business was purchased in 1892 by John A. White, who had just relocated to Dover, NH. The merged company was known as John A. White Co. Several workers, including "E. F. Gordon, the well-known inventor and designer of wood-working machinery," relocated as well.
