This company made sanders, from about 1917 through to about 1960. Their disk sander design was patented in 1917 by George J. Behringer of Erie, PA, who was the founder of this company. The company was affiliated with Standard Pattern Works, which is still operating in Erie.
The C. H. Driver Manufacturing Co. made (or sold) a "Wonder Sander". It is not known whether there is any connection.
A 1926 catalog from J. D. Wallace & Co. shows a "Wonder Disc Grinder and Sander" as well as a "Wonder Spindle Oscillating Grinder and Sander" that are identical to the Wonder Sander disk sander and spindle sander. It is possible that Wallace was reselling these machines from Wonder Sander; an alternative explanation is that Wallace bought the rights to these machines and was manufacturing them. But unlike the Wonder sanders, all other machines in that Wallace catalog have "Wallace" in their names, so the reselling arrangement seems more likely.
A reportedly post-WWII catalog from Woodworkers Tool Works also shows the Wonder sander products.
