Beginning in 1953 from the remnants of the Sebastian Lathe Co., the D. C. Morrison Co. made the Morrison Keyseater and associated broaching tooling.
Over the years, D. C. Morrison Co. bought up the service-and-support business of other manufacturers as they ceased doing business, including Burke Machine Tool Co., Logan Engineering Co., Parks Woodworking Machine Co., and Schauer Machine Co. In 2022 D. C. Morrison Co. was acquired by partner Morsco AEC, who soon discontinued the service-and-support business. As of 2024, D. C. Morrison continues to manufacture their keyseater.
