In 1941 J. A. Richards Co. of Kalamazoo, MI, introduced the new Twistite drill press vise. Richards' Industries, Inc. manufactured at least 3 Twistite drill press vise models and a small bench vise in 1949. In 1942 Michigan Clamp Co. was manufacturing Twistite work holders, and in 1958 the manufacturer was Twistite, Inc. The relationship between these companies has not been researched yet.
