A. Streit Machine Co. manufactured boring lathes and what was generally described as pulley machinery. The firm began before 1893, and seldom appeared in print after that year. Their building was destroyed by fire in Dec. 1903, and they moved to 1108-1110 Harrison Ave., Cincinnati. In mid-1907 Streit sold the rights to the pulley machinery to Cincinnati Pulley Machinery Co., and Streit began manufacturing automatic gas engines. In 1909, Anton Streit was president and the address was Marquis Ave., Cincinnati.
