The Threading Machine Co. was a lesser-known manufacturer of die stocks, other pipe tools, and pipe threading machines. It was organized in Sandusky, OH, in Nov. 1907, and manufacturing was by Sandusky Foundry & Machine Co. In Dec. 1918, it was announced that The Threading Machine Co. assets were to be sold to Sandusky Foundry & Machine Co., under a contract with Bond Machine Co. of Wilmington, DE. The Threading Machine Co. was dissolved Apr. 1919. In Nov. 1920, Bond Machine Co. consolidated with Modern Machinery Co. of Wilmington to form Modern-Bond Co. As of 1922, the latter was manufacturing the Sandusky line of pipe tools and machinery, as well as a machine vise.
