Stenman Electric Valve Grinder Co. manufactured a portable electric oscillating valve grinder beginning in early 1918. The tool was invented by Bror F. Stenman, a self-trained mechanical engineer and inventor who sold his interest in the company in March 1918.

The company introduced the HusKee portable electric drill in 1920 through a subsidiary, Stenman Electric Tool Co. In 1921 the nation suffered a deflationary recession. A July, 1921 announcement stated that Worcester Electric Tool Co. had taken over the business of Stenman Electric Valve Grinder Co., Stenman Electric Tool Co., and Consolidated Machine Tool Co., all of Worcester. Later that year, HusKee Tool Manufacturing Co., Pawtucket, RI, a subsidiary of Worcester Electric Tool Co., advertised a closeout sale of Stenman electric valve grinders. Simultaneously, it introduced its own HusKee Three-in-One service tool, a combination valve grinder, emery grinder, and drill. Mr. J. J. Kelleher, manager, was previously with Stenman Electrical Tool Co. and Worcester Electric Tool Co.
