Guide for band-saws
|
Reuben McChesney |
Philadelphia, PA |
Improvements to patent 405,110; the primary improvement is to extend the side guides downwards so that they overlap with the ball-bearing back guide. As well, the rapid rotation of the back guide—which led to excessive wear—was reduced by substituting a roller bearing that did not require lubrications. These guides were sold by Goodell & Waters as the "Mohawk Dutchman" blade guides. |
