1,299,828 Apr. 08, 1919 Vise Edwin W. Fulton Lowfille, NY The 1924-08-19 Oswego Daily Times had an article announcing that Edwin W. Fulton, of Lowville, was taking over as works manager of the Oswego Tool Co. "Mr. Fulton controls the Atlas Vise Company, Inc., and the Velox Vise Company, Inc., of Lowville, N. Y., and by this connection the Oswego Tool company acquires the rights to manufacture and sell the celebrated Velox quick action machinist's bench vise and the Nutyp combination pipe and bench vise, and the businesses of those companies will be transferred to Oswego. The Velox vise is a patented quick action bench vise used by the larger manufacturers where speed of production is essential... Up to three years ago Mr. Fulton was connected with the Fulton Vise and Machine company of Lowville, which has recently been reorganized as the Lowville Vise company." In 1928, Fulton became General Manager of the Oswego Tool Co.

International Nutyp Tool Corp. was one of several companies in series that manufactured vises until this inventor's patents. 1,684,215 Sep. 11, 1928 Nut Harry W. Connell Baldwinsville, NY This invention is a wrench retaining means for a nut. The patent illustration shows it in use on the swivel base of a bench vise, and sure enough, this patent number plus the patent nut and captured wrench were seen on a vise from International Nutyp Tool Corp.
