Around 1918, the Milwaukee Electric Crane & Mfg. Co. made a horizontal drilling and boring machine, sort of a radial drilling machine stood on its side. We have also seen a 1929 and a 1931 mention of Milwaukee Electric Crane & Hoist Corp., and it appears that by that time they were no longer making their drilling and boring machines.

• 1920 Iron Age Catalogue of American Exports has two pages on the Milwaukee Electric Crane & Mfg. CO., "Manufacturers of Horizontal Drilling and Boring Machines". Deals with electric cranes both standard and special, including an all steel crane designed for steel mill service; monorail hoists of double truck type built in capacities of 3 to 10 tons, and a horizontal drilling and boring machine especially suited for operating at one setting on pieces too long or bulky for the usual type of machine.
