In the late 1980s, Black & Decker sold the DeWalt line of radial arm saws to two of its former executives, who founded Lancaster Machinery Co. Lancaster went bankrupt shortly afterwards, and the rights to the DeWalt radial arm saw designs went to The Original Saw Co., which moved production to Britt, IA.
