A short-lived Canadian subsidiary of Atlas Press Co. of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Atlas Power Tools, Ltd. was organized in 1945 but did not survive for very long. So far as we can tell, they were no longer in business by about 1950.

- A 1950 issue of The American Bar with a brief biography of St. Thomas lawyer Edra Sanders Ferguson, born 1907-08-12, admitted to the bar 1930, became first alderwoman of St. Thomas, etc. She was solicitor for several local businesses including Atlas Power Tools, Ltd.
- A correspondent reports a machine label with an Atlas logo (identical to those from Atlas Press) and the text "Atlas Power Tools Ltd. / St. Thomas Ont. / Canada". It is not known what type of machine the label was originally attached to.
