This very early, ornate trimmer was recently obtained by a friend of mine in Indiana. It's marked "C.P. Bachelder" and was supposedly made in Franklin, NH. It bears no patent marks, or any indication that one was applied for. I've exhausted all of my sources for information. So, if anybody knows anything about this machine or its builder, please let me know.
