This is a postcard of from 1909 of the Ridgway Dynamo & Engine Company. This postcard was submitted by Elenor Saaf whose grandfather's brother, Oscar Carlson, worked at the factory. Written on the postcard is a note from Oscar to Elenor's grandfather, Claes.
The text is written in old-fashioned Swedish. The text as translated by Elenor reads:
"A dear greeting from us over here in a foreign country, far across the
sea and the shore (is coast or seaside a better word? My notice).
Health we have and doing well. Hope it is the same with you. Here you
see the factory where I work.
