A multiple machine, arranged for simultaneously screwing three bolts of the same diameter, is illustrated in fig. 129. This machine, which is manufactured by Messrs. Kendall & Gent, Limited, of Manchester, is provided with an automatic arrangement, shown at the front of the bed, for opening the dies and closing them again after the withdrawal of the pieces. A hand lever is, however, provided for operating the dies when desired. |
