When large quantities of a piece of work have to be dealt with, it is generally advisable to devise a special chuck, and one such example is illustrated in fig. 67, which represents a well-known type of revolving-jaw chuck, supplied by the Warner & Swasey Company, for holding pieces having several faces to be operated upon, such as globe valve-bodies and elbows. |
