THE GLEN COVE MACHINE COMPANY, LIMITED, Nos. 28 and 30 Clay street, Brooklyn, N. Y., report business as very satisfactory at the present time. They have recently contracted with Abraham Steers, of New York City, for the outfit for his new model planing- mill. Among orders recently finished may be mentioned the planing and matching machines supplied Vanderbeek & Sons, Jersey City, and machines shipped to Knapp, Stout & Co., Fort Madison, Iowa. They have also shipped machinery to the Lafayette Oar Works, Lafayette, Ind.: also to the car works at Lima, Ohio ; the Pullman Palace Car Company, Pullman, 111., and T. Wilce & Co., of Chicago. Machinery has also been shipped to the Ludington, Wells & Van Shaick Lumber Company and the Kirby Carpenter Company, of Menominee, Mich. Among foreign orders filled recently was a shipment to Chin, South America. We understand that the company have a full order book at the present time. |
