64,064 Apr. 23, 1867 Improvement in self-lubricating journal-box Samuel Fisk Bond Worcester, MA This patent was seen on a Daniels planer from Richardson, Meriam & Co. at Percy & Small shipyard mill, part of the Maine Maritime Museum. It was also reported on a planer-matcher and a circular resaw, both from the same company. An 1869 advertisement for Richardson, Meriam & Co. lists S. F. Bond as a partner in the business; one of the witnesses on this patent, William B. McIver, was also a partner (there were only two other partners, being Horace A. Richardson and Rufus N. Meriam).

Meriam Worcester, MA According to a history of Richardson, Meriam & Co., this patent covers "the 'Champion Molding-machine,' a piece of mechanism adapted to all sizes and styles of molding, which will work from sides; both side-heads can be set to cut any angle, and adjusted either horizontally or vertically, without changing the angle."
