The Nichols & Shepard Co. were known to have been a manufacturer of steam traction engines, portable steam engines (ca 1870's), the Red River Special thresher, rice threshers, alfalfa and small seed threshers, mounted water tanks, low down tank pumps, and all-steel frame horse powers.
