Founded in 1874 by Jacob D. Cox II and incorporated in 1904. The firm merged with National Acme to form the Acme-Clevland Corp. In 2009 they became part of Greenfield Industries Industries, which subsequently becae part of the Top-Eastern Group, the world’s largest manufacturer of twist drills.
