This firm was at Lake and York streets, Toronto at the turn of the 19th century. They manufactured gas and gasoline engines for marine, stationary, and agricultural uses, operated a brass foundry, and built boats.

The Labour Gazette, Vol. 5, June 1907, pg. 1321 stated that Toronto Gas & Gasoline Co. was to erect a concrete machine shop on Dufferin St.

An ad in National Post, Feb. 22, 1913, pg. 15 was for a liquidator's sale of the assets of Canadian Power and Launches, Ltd., "manufacturer of stationary and marine gas and gasoline engines and of motor launches." Assets included concrete buildings on Dufferin St.

Toronto Junction was a waterfront suburb that was incorporated into Toronto in 1909.
