In 1909, A. J. Lindsay of 55 Gould Street in Toronto was making a grinder specialized for woodworking shops. It had a knife grinder with a water cooling system; the knife-sharpening wheels could be replaced with wheels for sharpening moulding and sticker knives. At one end of the machine is a station for sharpening saws.
