This business was perhaps established by Otis J. Hodge. They made sawmills and heavier machinery used by railcar builders.

  • Patent records show that Nehemiah Hodge of North Adams was granted various patents between 1849 and 1852, and Otis J. Hodge received patents in 1871 and 1877.
