I wasn't looking to aquire this jointer. I bought a saw and the guy I got it from had this jointer with a 1 hp Dayton motor on it. I really didn't want the jointer, just the motor. In the end I got the whole deal for what I offered him for the motor alone. No history on this machine, all the guy knew was that it had been sitting in his place for as long as he could remember. I don't know if I'll do much to this or not. It has babbitt bearings, and I've taken the motor off to use elsewhere. Maybe I'll clean it up some and go from there. I don't know the age but it looks old.**** It belongs to Jamie now.(For wall decoration)
