For those that have been around here for a while,
you will remember that back before the big site rebuild (I think it was
in 2008), we had a classified ads section on the old site. This was a
very popular feature on the site but one that we were forced to disabled when we
rebuilt the site due to some technical issues.

My plans was to find some commercial software and

get the Classifieds going again. However, I was never able to find
anything off the
shelf that would do what I wanted. So, I instead just wrote the code to
integrate the new classified ads right into the main
VintageMachinery.org application. I have spent most of my spare time
working on this project over the past month and as of today, we are
re-launching the new and improved VintageMachinery.org Classified Ads!

You can now access the NEW Classified Ads at www.vintagemachinery.org/classifieds/

Additionally, I added a new tab to the MfgIndex
page for the Classified Ads – if there are any classifieds listed for a
particular manufacturer, just those ads will be listed on that page.

The Classified Ads are FREE to post your vintage
machinery on to sell. While we do not charge for the service, as
always, if you find the feature useful, please consider making a donation to help keep the site running.

Enjoy!

With this new site build, these problems have hopefully been resolved.
