The Hicks Gas Engine Co. was active in the late 1890’s and early 1900’s.
The Hicks Gas Engine Co. has removed their works from Detroit, Mich., to Buffalo, N. Y., where they have secured ample facilities for the manufacture of their engines. While In Detroit they were obliged to reject and cancel many orders on account of not being able to get the engines out on time, and not being able to secure ample facilities in that place. They are now however, in a position to handle orders for engines from 2 to 500 horse power.
