This came off from a J.D. Wallace 4 inch jointer. It is a direct drive motor mounted on the jointer itself. The motor is made by General Electric company but was made specifically fpr this type of wood jointer. Motor itself is in very good running condition. Does not have the on/off switch but can be easily replaced. It has the older ceramic base type that was broken already.
Would ship this by UPS for $30.00 it iis a heavy small motor.
