This lathe sits on the exceptionally rare factory oak cabinet. The cabinet is beautiful quarter sawn oak. It houses the original motor inside the cabinet(110v), which would have belts run up to the counter shaft above, then back down to the lathe itself. The cabinet is loaded with original tooling as well; collets, chucks, change gears, tool holders, tail stock tooling, faceplates, steady rest, and other tooling. New belting material is included as well. The machine, cabinet and tooling are all original from 1926.
Being a nearly 100 year old machine, it does show wear/use, but is ready to be put back into service and enjoyed. It is as much fine furniture as it is a functional tool.
