For sale is a 6” Walker-Turner jointer with motor and stand. The bed is 35” long. It is almost entirely complete, missing only two parts: the thumb hold-down that goes into the outfeed side of the cutter guard and the spring steel hold down that goes into the clamp that you see on the fence. Neither of these parts is essential.
The cutterhead bearings are smooth, however they would no doubt benefit from being taken apart, cleaned and re-greased. (The bearings on this machine are apparently a non-standard size, so replacing them is probably difficult.)
The machine needs a cleaning, but everything works smoothly. The motor is a ¾ HP dual-voltage General Electric, currently set up for 110. It runs fine.
The stand looks like somebody’s homemade job, but it is well constructed and solid.
I had wanted to put this machine to use, but my plans changed, so now it should go to a good home.
The machine is in a basement. I can help you load. I can even deliver, if it is not too far away.
Thanks for looking.
