I have a circa 1945 Greenlee model 495 table saw that needs a new home. Too many projects and too many responsibilities. Saw was running and in use when I purchased it. Needs cleaning and cosmetic restoration. I began some of the work but did not get into the saw itself, only cleaning/repainting miter, fence and some smaller parts based on colors found on saw. Pros are that it has the original miter gage and rack and pinon fence. Miter had some breaks in casting, professionally brazed and re ground. Saw has a dado extension arbor installed. 5hp, 3 phase, direct drive. All handwheels and trunnions turn and work as they should. Throat plate is a shop replacement. Comes with a couple of blades, aftermarket blade guard, several nuts/washers, etc. Should be a good project for someone interested in one of the large classic saws or needing original parts. Have forklift available on site, loading in a truck or trailer no problem. Asking $600 obo. It's a solid saw that deserves to be restored, so I'm more interested in finding it a good home than making a lot of money. Please email me with any questions. Thanks! |
