We took these assemblies from lathes we’re converting to alternate power arrangements. Don’t know if they work, and if so, how, but my understanding is the Lima units are built for the ages. These, and the lathes from which they were removed, have been mothballed for a number of years, so I imagine they should be emptied and replenished of lubricant, etc.
Gray Unit –
Model 4 Type R3 Serial P1075 Frame 225 1800 RPM HP - 3 220-440 volts 3 Phase Ratios of 4.15, 3.15, 1.85, and direct/1.0
Green Unit –
Model - not stated on motor I.D. tag Type R1 Serial 013809 Frame 225 1200 RPM HP - 3 220-440 volts 3 Phase Ratios – unknown (to seller)
For parts or a period restoration, these assemblies could be indispensable. We have no plans for future use of these, and would really like to clear up the space and make it available for other things. We’re asking $400 each, but if you have a use for one, you’ll likely have a use for both. Make an offer; we’re reasonable people! |
