Berlin Double spindle Shaper

Very early machine maker that was later merged into the Yates American empire.
This is a really beautiful little double shaper.
The table is only 42" x 50" wide.
Shaft diameter is 1"
It still has babbit spindle bearings.
It was originally a line shaft powered machine.
A belt driven electric motor was added to one spindle in an attempt at modernization.
I might remove the brackets and return it to it’s original configuration.
