I purchased this bandsaw in Nov. 2017 in Dallas, from a metal fabrication company that was closing. It is specifically made for cutting metal. There is video of it cutting a 1.25" solid round steel rod. It was originally ran on a 3 phase motor but I had it converted to a single phase. Both motors have been removed, but will go with the machine so you can decide which you want to use. These are considered one of the work horses of metal bandsaws and even these older models are more expensive than what I am asking. It takes a 9'9" blade and weighs 700 lbs. |
